一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)
Liu was encouraged at first to train for the high jump.
Liu Xiang’s ability in hurdling was noticed by Sun Haiping.
我們知道,被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的動(dòng)詞形式為“be+動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞”,其中be為助動(dòng)詞,根據不同的人稱(chēng)和時(shí)態(tài)有形式的變化。因此,一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)肯定句的結構為:
主語(yǔ)+was/were+動(dòng)詞過(guò)去分詞(+by+動(dòng)作執行者)
一般過(guò)去時(shí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的各類(lèi)句式與一般現在時(shí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的各類(lèi)句式類(lèi)似,你可以嘗試總結嗎?
否定句:主語(yǔ)+was/were+not+動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞(+by+動(dòng)作執行者)
e.g.The window was not broken by Tom.
一般疑問(wèn)句:Was/Were+主語(yǔ)+動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞(+by+動(dòng)作執行者)
e.g. Was the room cleaned by Tom?
特殊疑問(wèn)句:特殊疑問(wèn)詞+was/were+主語(yǔ)+動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞(+by+動(dòng)作執行者)
e.g. When was the book published?
前面我們總結了一般過(guò)去時(shí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的各類(lèi)句式,那么encourage sb. to do sth, allow sb. to do sth.等不定式作賓語(yǔ)補足語(yǔ)的結構在被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)中如何處理呢?我們來(lái)對比一下其主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)與被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的形式:
The school encouraged Liu Xiang to train for the high jump.
Liu Xiang was encouraged (by the school) to train for the high jump.
可以看出,被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的句子是把主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)中的賓語(yǔ)提到了主語(yǔ)的位置,賓語(yǔ)補足語(yǔ)的位置不變。應該注意,這樣的句子往往不會(huì )提到動(dòng)作的執行者。這正是被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的特點(diǎn):被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)強調動(dòng)作承受者,而不強調動(dòng)作執行者。
