Language points
1.kind of 有幾分…… 相當于一個(gè)副詞，后面多跟形容詞 。例如：
They’re kind of scary. 他們有點(diǎn)可怕。
The pandas are kind of cute. 熊貓有點(diǎn)可愛(ài)。

【點(diǎn)撥】be from…表示“來(lái)自……”，from后面常跟國家或城市等地點(diǎn)名詞。如：They are from New York.
【鏈接】come from也表示“ 來(lái)自……”，可與be from互換，但在變疑問(wèn)句或否定句時(shí)要借助助動(dòng)詞do/does。
3. 他(指“狗”)會(huì )用兩條腿走路。(他會(huì )立著(zhù)行走)

【解析】
walk on…表示“用某種方式行走”。如：
walk on one’s hands 表示“用手倒立行走”
walk on one’s knees 表示“跪著(zhù)走；跪著(zhù)向前挪動(dòng)”
4. Why don’t you like the cat?
你為什么不喜歡那只貓呢？
另外，Why don’t you + 動(dòng)詞原形，還是一種提建議的句型。 意為“為什么 不……呢？” 例如：
Why don’t you take a walk?
你為什么不去散步呢？
Why don’t you drink some tea?
為什么不喝點(diǎn)茶呢？
“Why don’t you + 動(dòng)詞原形”的同義句可以說(shuō)：Let’s … 例如：
Let’s take a walk. 讓我們去散步吧。
Let’s drink some tea. 讓我們喝點(diǎn)茶吧。
