1.由從屬連詞that引導的賓語(yǔ)從句

e.g. 

►I hear (that) he will be back in an hour.

►He said (that) he missed us very much.

注:that 在句中無(wú)詞匯意義,在從句中不能充當成分,在口語(yǔ)當中往往省略。

that在賓語(yǔ)從句中的省略與保留

a. 在主+謂+it(形式賓語(yǔ))+賓補+that 從句(真正賓語(yǔ)) 的句型中不省略。

►We must make it clear that we mean what we say.

b. 由連詞and連接的兩個(gè)由that引導的賓語(yǔ)從句中,第二個(gè)that 不省略。

►He told me (that) he would come and that he would stay for 2 days.

c.當that作介詞 except, in等賓語(yǔ)時(shí)。

►They believe in that she must still be single.

►I know nothing about him except that he is living in Beijing.

2.由從屬連詞 whether, if 引導的賓語(yǔ)從句。

if/whether 引導賓語(yǔ)從句 表示“是否”。 

if/whether可互換,但whether…or not為固定搭配。

►I want to know if/whether she is right .

►They didn’t know whether Tom could come back or not .

注意whether和if的使用區別

1).whether和if都可以引導賓語(yǔ)從句 

a.當whether后緊跟or not時(shí),不用if.

►I don’t know whether or not he will come. 

如果or not放在whether所引導的從句句尾,可用if 替換。

►I don’t know whether/if he will come or not. 

b.介詞后面的賓語(yǔ)從句不能用if.

►I worry about whether I hurt her feeling.

c.在強調任意選擇時(shí),用whether…or,此時(shí)不用 if 替換whether。

►He asked me whether I wanted to go there by train or by bus.他問(wèn)我是想乘火車(chē)還是坐公共汽車(chē)去那里。

whether...or還有“不管”之意,引導讓步狀語(yǔ)從句。

►Whether he drives or takes the train, he will be here on time. 不管開(kāi)車(chē)來(lái)還是乘火車(chē)來(lái),他都會(huì )準時(shí)到。

d. 雖引導賓語(yǔ)從句,但為了強調賓語(yǔ)部分,也可把從句放在句首,此時(shí)只用whether不用if。

Whether he will come I am not sure.

e.句子中有if 引導的條件句,如再有表示“是否”的賓語(yǔ)從句,用whether不用if。

He asked me whether I’d move to New York if I got the job. 

f. 容易產(chǎn)生歧義時(shí)用whether不用if來(lái)表示“是否”。 

Please let me know if you need help. 

如果你需要幫助請告訴我。

或:請告訴我你是否需要幫助。對比:

►Please let me know whether you need help.

請告訴我你是否需要幫助。

g. 如果賓語(yǔ)從句為否定句時(shí),則只用if不用 whether。

I don’t know if it won't rain tomorrow.

我不知道明天是不是會(huì )下雨。

2).引導主語(yǔ)從句置于句首時(shí),只能用whether。

►Whether he comes or not makes no difference. 

3). Whether可以引導表語(yǔ)從句和同位語(yǔ)從句,if不可以。

4).用在動(dòng)詞不定式之前時(shí)用whether不用if。 

► I don’t know whether to go there at once.       

我不知道是不是該立刻去那里。 

3.由連接代詞 who, whom, whose, which, what 和連接副詞 where, how, why, when引導的賓語(yǔ)從句

►Do you know whose book it is ?

►Please tell me when we’ll have a meeting .

►Could you tell me why the train is late?

►He asked who could answer the question.

賓語(yǔ)從句的語(yǔ)序

無(wú)論主句是陳述句還是疑問(wèn)句,賓語(yǔ)從句都是運用陳述句的語(yǔ)序,即是“主語(yǔ)在前,謂語(yǔ)在后”的順序。

►Danny says that he will learn English.    

►Do you know where he came from?   

►Please tell me how I can get to the bus station .

What 和 How引導的感嘆句

所謂感嘆句,就是用來(lái)表達喜怒哀樂(lè )等強烈情感的句子。近年來(lái),感嘆句的構成及轉換是中考?嫉目键c(diǎn)之一。

感嘆句一般由“what”和“how”來(lái)開(kāi)頭的句子 “what”修飾名詞,“how”修飾形容詞和副詞。

What 引導的感嘆句

“what”意為“多么”用作定語(yǔ),修飾名詞(被強調部分),名詞前可有其它定語(yǔ)成份(即:形容詞或冠詞)。單數可數名詞前要加不定冠詞a/an,復數可數名詞或不可數名詞前不用冠詞。

一般有三種形式,此時(shí)what為形容詞,作定語(yǔ),用來(lái)修飾它后面的名詞或詞組。 

1. what+a/an+形容詞+可數名詞單數+主語(yǔ)+謂語(yǔ)!

►What an interesting story it is!  多么有趣的故事呀! 

►What a good girl she is!  她是個(gè)多么好的一個(gè)女孩!

2. what+形容詞+不可數名詞+主語(yǔ)+謂語(yǔ)! 

►What heavy snow it is!   多么大的雪呀!

►What bad weather it is!  多么糟糕的天氣! 

3. what+形容詞+可數名詞復數+主語(yǔ)+謂語(yǔ)!

►What beautiful flowers they are!  多么漂亮的花!

►What good students they are!  他們是多么好的學(xué)生! 

How 引導的感嘆句

“how”意為“多么”,用作狀語(yǔ),修飾形容詞或副詞(被強調部分)。如果修飾形容詞,則句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用系動(dòng)詞;如果how修飾副詞,則句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用行為動(dòng)詞。
