（1）take up 開(kāi)始；從事，常指開(kāi)始某項工作、愛(ài)好等。

（2）take up 還有“接受(提議)； 占用”等意思。

注意：do with 與deal with可以轉換，但二者也有不同：
do with常與連接代詞what連用，而deal with常與連接副詞how連用。eg：I don’t know how they deal with the problem.
= I don’t know what they do with the problem.
