The Past Perfect Tense 過(guò)去完成時(shí)
1. 過(guò)去完成時(shí)的構成助動(dòng)詞 had (用于各種人稱(chēng)和數) + 過(guò)去分詞
When I got to school, the bell had rung.
2. 過(guò)去完成時(shí)的用法:主要是表示在過(guò)去某個(gè)時(shí)間,或是動(dòng)作之前已經(jīng)發(fā)生或完成的動(dòng)作.也就是過(guò)去的過(guò)去.
3. 常用的幾種方式:
用介詞by, before 等構成的時(shí)間短語(yǔ).
We had learnt 20 English songs by the end of last month.
用連詞when, before, after或者短語(yǔ)by the time引導的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句.
The plane had taken off when I reached the airport.
By the time I got up , my brother had left home.
