可數名詞與不可數名詞
普通名詞所表示的人或事物是可以按個(gè)數計算的，這類(lèi)名詞叫可數名詞�？蓴得~分為個(gè)體名詞(表示某類(lèi)人或事物中的個(gè)體，如worker, farmer, desk, factory等)和集體名詞(表示作為一個(gè)整體來(lái)看的一群人或一些事物，如people, family 等)。
如果普通名詞所表示的事物是不能按個(gè)數來(lái)計算的，這類(lèi)名詞就叫不可數名詞。不可數名詞分為物質(zhì)名詞(表示無(wú)法分為個(gè)體的物質(zhì)，如meat, rice, water, milk, orange 等)和抽象名詞(表示動(dòng)作、狀態(tài)、情況、品質(zhì)等抽象概念，如work, homework, time, health, friendship等)。

可數名詞
可數名詞有單數和復數兩種形式。指一個(gè)人或一件事物時(shí)，用單數形式；指兩個(gè)或多個(gè)人或事物時(shí)用復數形式。名詞由單數形式變成復數形式的規則如下：
1. 一般的名詞詞尾直接加-s 。如：
book → books room → rooms
house → houses day → days
2. 以s, ss, ch, sh, x 結尾的名詞，在詞尾加-es 。如：
bus → buses glass → glasses
watch → watches
dish → dishes box → boxes
3. 以“輔音字母+y”結尾的名詞，要先將y改為i再加-es。如：
city → cities body → bodies
factory → factories

不可數名詞
1. 不可數名詞沒(méi)有復數，當它作句子的主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用單數形式。如：
The food is very fresh. 食品很新鮮。
2. 有的不可數名詞也可以作可數名詞，有復數形式，但他們的意義往往發(fā)生變化。如：
water (水) → waters (水域)
orange (橘汁) → oranges (橘子)
3. 很多的不可數名詞表示泛指時(shí)為不可數，表示種類(lèi)時(shí)就可數，意義大多不發(fā)生變化。如：
fruit → fruits food → foods
fish → fishes hair → hairs

some和any
some和any可用作形容詞，都意為“一些”，用來(lái)修飾復數可數名詞或不可數名詞。
那么這兩個(gè)詞之間有什么區別呢？

We can ask ________ questions in our Chinese class.
意為“一些”時(shí)，some常用于肯定句，any常用于否定句和疑問(wèn)句。但當any意為“任何一個(gè)（一些）”，起強調作用時(shí)，用于肯定句中。
If there is any trouble, please let me know.
在表示請求、建議或期望得到對方的肯定回答的疑問(wèn)句中，要用some，此種情況多用于Can I ...? / Would you like ...?的句型中。
