Expression of the time.(時(shí)間的表達法)
一、整點(diǎn)：
整點(diǎn)鐘 + o’clock
例如：ten o’clock
二、含有小時(shí)和分鐘：
1. 順讀法：先讀小時(shí)數, 后讀分鐘數
例如：eight ten（8：10）八點(diǎn)十分
2.逆讀法：
1)時(shí)間未過(guò)30分：分鐘 + past + 點(diǎn)鐘
例如：9:10 讀成 ten past nine
2) 時(shí)間剛好是30分鐘：half past + 點(diǎn)鐘
例如：9:30 讀成 half past nine
3) 時(shí)間已過(guò)30分：( 60−分鐘) + to + (點(diǎn)鐘 +1)
例如：8:50 = (60 −50) + to + (8+1) = ten to nine

Language points
1. We have Chinese at eight o’clock ...
o’clock意為“……點(diǎn)鐘”, 與1至12之間的數字連用，只能表示整點(diǎn)，如eight o’clock和seven o’clock分別表示“8點(diǎn)鐘”和“7點(diǎn)鐘”，其中o’clock可以省略。
[拓展]
時(shí)間表示法一覽:
1.半點(diǎn)的表達。如:
half past six 6 點(diǎn)半 nine thirty 9點(diǎn)半
2. 一刻鐘的表達。如:
a quarter past eight 8點(diǎn)一刻
3. 具體的幾點(diǎn)幾分。
①小時(shí)+ 分鐘。如:
six ten 6點(diǎn)10分 seven twenty 7點(diǎn)20分
2. What about you, Betty?
What about ...?意為"……怎么樣？",是英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)中常用的一個(gè)句型,后面可接名詞、代詞或動(dòng)詞-ing形式。其主要用法如下:
1. 用來(lái)向對方詢(xún)問(wèn)情況或打聽(tīng)消息。如:
I’m twelve years old. What about you?
我十二歲, 你呢？
2. 用來(lái)征詢(xún)對方的看法或意見(jiàn)。如:
What about the TV play?
那個(gè)電視劇怎么樣？
3. 用來(lái)向對方提出建議或請求, 相當于 Would you like to ...? 。如:
What about going out for a walk?
出去散散步好嗎？
