be far from 離……遠
eg：My school is very far from here.
我的學(xué)校離這兒很遠。
far作形容詞時(shí)，在句中可作表語(yǔ)和定語(yǔ)；
far作副詞時(shí)，在句中作狀語(yǔ)。
eg：He can jump far.他能跳得很遠。
Tom comes from a far country.
湯姆來(lái)自一個(gè)遙遠的國家。
考查how far詢(xún)問(wèn)距離，問(wèn)“從A地到B地的距離是多少？”的句型是“How far is it from A to B？”，回答是“It’s＋距離.”。
知識點(diǎn)2
so/ səʊ /作副詞，修飾形容詞。
eg：I’m so happy.我是如此開(kāi)心。
so作連詞，連接兩個(gè)句子，表示因果關(guān)系。在同一個(gè)句子中，so不可與because（因為）同時(shí)出現。
eg：I get up early so I can catch the bus.
我起得早，因此我能趕上公共汽車(chē)。

題“沒(méi)有公交車(chē)”和“你將不得不步行”是因果關(guān)系，“沒(méi)有公交車(chē)”是因，“你將不得不步行”是果，故選A。

like to do sth.意為“喜歡做某事”。
一般情況下，它和like doing sth.可互換使用，但兩者的側重點(diǎn)有所不同：like to do sth.強調具體的動(dòng)作；like doing sth.則強調興趣，愛(ài)好。
eg：I like to go to the zoo.我喜歡去動(dòng)物園。
I like swimming.我喜歡游泳。
