mark v. 標記
mark作動(dòng)詞，意為“打分；做記號，做標記”。
The box of eggs was marked “with Care”.
裝有雞蛋的這盒子上標了“小心”字樣。
【拓展】mark作名詞，意為“分數；成績(jì)”，a good mark和a bad／poor mark分別表示“分數高”和“分數低”。
mark作名詞還可表示“記號；標記”。
日期表達法
常用的日期的寫(xiě)法有以下幾種：
月份+基數詞 September 10
月份+序數詞 September 10th
基數詞+月份 10 September
序數詞+月份 10th September
【拓展】在具體的日期(某月某日)前用介詞on。而在世紀、年份、季節、月份，上午、下午、晚上前用介詞in；在某個(gè)時(shí)間點(diǎn)或年齡前用介詞at。
count down 倒計時(shí)
She is counting down to the big day；她正在對這個(gè)重大日子倒計時(shí)。
in need有需要的
in need為固定搭配，意為“有需要的”，其中need為名詞，意為“需要”。
A friend in need is a friend indeed. 患難見(jiàn)真情。
There is no need for you to get up early. 你不需要早早起床。
