Language points
1. progress /'prəʊɡres/ n. 進(jìn)步
eg: Making more progress will be very difficult for him.
取得更大進(jìn)步對于他來(lái)說(shuō)將會(huì )很難。
progress為不可數名詞，其前不能用冠詞a修飾，也沒(méi)有復數形式，其前常用great, good, much等詞修飾。常見(jiàn)短語(yǔ)：make progress (in...)“（在……方面）取得進(jìn)步”。
eg: I will make progress in English this year.
今年我將在英語(yǔ)方面取得進(jìn)步。
2. achieve /ə'tʃiːv/ v. 成功；實(shí)現；完成
eg: He has achieved only half what he hoped to do.
他只完成了他原來(lái)所希望完成的一半。
