[觀(guān)察] I'm complaining about you to the robot shop.
我在向機器人商店投訴你。
[探究] complain 用作不及物動(dòng)詞，意為“抱怨；埋怨；投訴；發(fā)牢騷”。complain about sth 意為“抱怨某事”；complain to sb 意為“向某人抱怨”；complain about sth to sb 意為“向某人抱怨某事”。complain 后面也可接賓語(yǔ)從句。
Almost immediately he began to complain about the weather.
他幾乎馬上就開(kāi)始抱怨天氣了。
They complained about the terrible food to the boss.

[拓展] complain的名詞形式為complaint，意為“抱怨；埋怨；投訴；控告”。

[探究] whatever 作代詞，意為“任何，一切事物”，既可以引導主語(yǔ)從句，也可以引導讓步狀語(yǔ)從句。引導主語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要用單數形式；引導讓步狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，相當于no matter what。
