Language points
This is my sister.這是我的姐姐(妹妹)。
(1) This is.…用來(lái)介紹他人的常用句型,意為
“這是……”。介紹離說(shuō)話(huà)人比較遠的第三者時(shí),可以用“That is…”,意為“那是……”。當被介紹的人不止一個(gè)時(shí),用“These are…”或“Those are…”來(lái)表達。these意為這些,是this的復數形式;those意為那些,是that的復數形式。
This is my friend Tom. 這是我的朋友湯姆。
That’s Jim. 那是吉姆。
These are my parents. 這是我的父母。
Those are my grandparents.
那是我的(外)祖父母。
(2)在打電話(huà)用語(yǔ)中,This is...表示“我是……”,用于介紹自己。

(3)“That is”可以縮寫(xiě)成“That’s”,但是This is, these are和Those are均不能縮寫(xiě)。
Who’s he? 他是誰(shuí)?
(1)who意為“誰(shuí)”, 是疑問(wèn)代詞,用于句首引導特殊疑問(wèn)句,常用來(lái)詢(xún)問(wèn)人物關(guān)系或身份等,其賓格形式是whom。
—Who’s the man? 那個(gè)人是誰(shuí)?
—He’s my uncle. 他是我的叔叔。
(2)who作表語(yǔ)時(shí),常用于“Who+be+主語(yǔ)”結構中,系動(dòng)詞be隨主語(yǔ)的人稱(chēng)和數的變化而變化: 主語(yǔ)是第三人稱(chēng)單數時(shí)用is,主語(yǔ)是復數時(shí)用are。
—Who is this man? 這個(gè)人是誰(shuí)?
—He’s Tom’s father. 他是湯姆的父親。
—Who are these girls? 這些女孩是誰(shuí)?
—They are Joan and Kate. 她們是瓊和凱特。
