1. Breakfast cereal is also made of different grains. 早餐麥片也是由不同的谷物制成的。
【用法】句中的短語(yǔ)be made of…意思是“由……制成”，通過(guò)成品可以看出原材料。
【舉例】These tables are all made of wood. 這些桌子都是木頭做的。
【拓展】類(lèi)似的短語(yǔ)還有：
be made from… “由……制成”，通過(guò)成品不能看出原材料。
be made in… “在某地制造”。
be made by somebody “由某人制造”。
be made into… “把……制成”，指把原料制成成品。
2. Calcium makes your bones and teeth strong. 鈣能使你的骨骼和牙齒堅固。
【用法】句中的形容詞strong用在your bones and teeth后作賓語(yǔ)補足語(yǔ)。動(dòng)詞make后面可以加名詞、代詞、不帶to的不定式、形容詞、過(guò)去分詞等詞語(yǔ)構成的復合結構。
