1. On Monday, Ms. Liu asked us to make crossword puzzles based on facts about our heroes. 周一,劉老師讓我們做一個(gè)填詞游戲,這個(gè)游戲要以我們心中英語(yǔ)的一些事跡為基礎。
based on以……為基礎,基于。
I hear this song is based on a real story. 我聽(tīng)說(shuō)這首詩(shī)是以一個(gè)真實(shí)的故事為基礎的。
2. But whom should my puzzle be about? 但我的這人個(gè)謎語(yǔ)應該是關(guān)于誰(shuí)的呢?
whom為who 的賓格,口語(yǔ)中可用who代替whom。但緊接在介詞之后時(shí),不能用who,必須用whom。
To whom did you give the book? 你把那本書(shū)給誰(shuí)了?
3. I said that this person was the same age as them. 我說(shuō)這個(gè)人和他們同齡。
the same…as…和……一樣,same必須與the連用。其反義短語(yǔ)為be different from。
He has the same bag as me. 他有和我一樣的包。
4. I loved your puzzle. 我喜歡你的字謎。
