at the end of的意思是“在……末（端）”。
e.g. The great man died at the end of 1942.

I saw an old friend at the end of the room.

注意：in the end后不接of短語(yǔ)。
in the end與at the end of
in the end意為“最后；終于”，相當于finally，常常獨立地作狀語(yǔ)。
at the end of意為“在……盡頭；在……末尾”。
【運用】
根據句意，選用in the end或at the end of填空。
