一、指示代詞
表示“這個(gè)”，“那個(gè)”，“這些”，“那些”等指示概念的代詞叫指示代詞。
1．this，these是近指，一般用來(lái)指時(shí)間或空間上較近的事物；that，those是遠指，常用來(lái)指時(shí)間或空間上較遠的事物。this，that指代單數，these，those指代復數。eg：
Is this your pencil？這是你的鉛筆嗎？
These are my friends.這些是我的朋友。
Is that his book？那是他的書(shū)嗎？
Those are my brothers.那些是我的兄弟們。
2．回答this/that，these/those作主語(yǔ)的問(wèn)句時(shí)，常用it和they分別代替this/that和these/those。eg：
—Are these/those your English books？這些/那些是你的英語(yǔ)書(shū)嗎？
—Yes，they are.是的，它們是的。
—What's this/that？這/那是什么？
—It's a ruler.它是一把尺子。
3．介紹在一起的人或物時(shí)，先說(shuō)this/these，后說(shuō)that/those。
【注意】this is，these are，those are都不能縮寫(xiě)，而that is可以縮寫(xiě)成that's。

二、who的用法
主要用來(lái)詢(xún)問(wèn)某人是誰(shuí)，常用來(lái)引導特殊疑問(wèn)句。eg：
Who's she？ Who's he？ Who're they?
這些都是由who引導的特殊疑問(wèn)句。who是特殊疑問(wèn)詞，意為“誰(shuí)”。
基本句型為：Who＋is/are＋主語(yǔ)(人)？意為“……是誰(shuí)？”回答常用He/She is…/They are… eg：
—Who're they？他們是誰(shuí)？
—They are Tom and Jim.他們是湯姆和吉姆。
—Who's he？他是誰(shuí)？
—He is Dale.他是戴爾。
另外，who可與is，are縮寫(xiě)，who is⇒who's，who are⇒who're。
