eg：Prices rose by 6 percent last year.
去年，物價(jià)上漲了6%。
基數詞＋ percent＋of＋名詞(短語(yǔ))、代詞作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞與of 后面的名詞(短語(yǔ))、代詞在數上保持一致，即當名詞(短語(yǔ))、代詞為單數(或不可數)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數形式；當名詞(短語(yǔ))、代詞為復數時(shí)， 謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復數形式。
eg：Seventy percent of the rice is from the south. 百分之七十的大米來(lái)自南方。

the rest在句中作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的單復數形式依據它所指代的名詞的單復數形式而定，即所指代的名詞為復數時(shí)，則謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復數形式；所指代的名詞為單數時(shí)，則謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數形式。
eg：These grapes are mine. The rest are yours.
這些葡萄是我的。其余的(葡萄)是你的。
