1. Three percent of all Canadians are First Nations people.

percent意為“百分之……”。英語(yǔ)中百分數
的表達形式為“基數詞+percent”。如：fifty-six percent (56%)
當“百分數+of+名詞”作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的單復數形式要由of后面的名詞來(lái)決定：of后面是復數可數名詞時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復數形式；of后面是不可數名詞或單數可數名詞時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數形式。
e.g. Four-fifths of the oil has been used up.
已經(jīng)用完了五分之四的油。
Seventy percent of the students come from the countryside.
